Australian Vintage has announced a slew of new drinks launches and extensions to existing ranges just in time for summer.
They include a range of sweeter wines called Chateau Marmalade, a Lemsecco spritz, Tempus One Peach canned spritzer and Passion Pop Peach and Strawberry.
Australian Vintage Chief Winemaker Jamie Saint said the new drinks releases signalled a shift towards an era of refreshing and lighter-flavoured wines driven by the preferences of younger consumers.
“We’re thrilled to bring younger Australians such a large variety of wines and wine drinks that resonate with their tastes and make a perfect addition to any occasion with family and friends,” he said.
“These products are all about easy drinking and fruit-forward flavours that are lighter and refreshing, making them ideal for the upcoming spring and summer months.
“Our aim is to provide versatile, appealing drinking options that we envision being at every spring and summer occasion. From dinner parties to family BBQs to poolside sessions we put the consumer at the heart of everything we do.”
The Chateau Marmalade line-up features a Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, and a Red Blend that are driven by the younger consumers’ demand for sweeter, light flavoured wines that are easy on the palate. Lemsecco taps into the rising trend of fruit-forward, easy-drinking wines that resonate with younger consumers who increasingly gravitate towards fun and flavoured beverages. RRP: $19.99 per 750mL bottle. Available now at independent liquor stores.
Tempus One Peach joins the Tempus One line-up alongside the successful Berry, Passionfruit, and Watermelon flavours. RRP $24 per 4 pack. Available late September in First Choice and select Liquorlands.
Passion Pop Peach is a fruit-forward, sweeter sparkling wine that brings a fresh twist to the iconic range, while Passion Pop Strawberry offers a blend of fresh strawberry flavours, enhanced by subtle hints of vanilla.
