Little Creatures & Liquor Barons unveil one-of-a-kind beer

A collaboration between Little Creatures and Liquor Barons has resulted in a new beer called Little Towns Crispy Lager being rolled out in Western Australia.

Ravensthorpe and Barons Locals Member Stevie Smart crafted a one-of-a-kind beer, winning the‘Create Your Kegacy’ competition.

Following guidance from master brewers at Little Creatures’ Fremantle Brewery, his limited edition creation has gone on sale.

Little Towns Crispy Lager was inspired by the charm and camaraderie of small Western Australian towns with welcoming country pubs.

Smart selected the flavours, named the lager and designed the can and packaging.

“My Little Towns Crispy Lager is an ode to the small, welcoming country towns in Western Australia, where people travel far and wide to catch up at the local pub,” Smart said.

“With a crisp, refreshing taste it’s the perfect companion for hot summer days, a cold beer in hand and yarn with your mates is all you need, no matter the occasion.”

Little Creatures Head Brewer Russell Gosling said: “Collaborating with passionate beer lovers like Stevie is what makes our craft so special.

“Little Towns Crispy Lager is a fantastic brew that reflects the spirit of WA’s close-knit communities, and we’re thrilled to see it come to life, and confident it’s going to be a crowd pleaser.”

Marketing Manager for Liquor Barons Eliza Schwab saidt: “We’re so proud of what this partnership has achieved, showcasing what happens when creativity and community come together. We are eager to see Little Towns Crispy Lager hit the Liquor Barons shelves, bringing people together across WA.”

Little Towns Crispy Lager has a 4.8% ABV. The new beer will be available for purchase from late September at Liquor Barons stores across the state.
