Wine-by-the-glass specialist Coravin has unveiled the Hermitage Red Timeless Six +, a limited edition colour for the 2025 festive season.
The system allows wine lovers to enjoy a glass of their favourite wine without compromising the rest of the bottle, meaning they can enjoy the same wine, completely unaffected, even years later.
The new Hermitage Red colour is inspired by a wine experience enjoyed by Coravin Founder Greg Lambrecht: the moment he tasted a 1985 Hermitage wine, poured using one of his earliest Coravin Timeless prototypes.
This wine, described by Greg as having “the most beautiful and complex flavour” he had ever experienced, had been tucked away in a cellar for over a decade because it was deemed “too good to drink.” It was a pivotal moment that solidified his mission to make every wine, even ‘special occasion’ wines, more accessible.
“Coravin was born from my personal desire to enjoy any wine, in any amount, without the pressure to finish the bottle,” he said.
“As I savoured that remarkable glass of Hermitage, the true power of that freedom became clear. I realised at that moment that every bottle, no matter how rare or special, was now accessible, one perfect glass at a time.”
The new Coravin Hermitage Red Timeless Six + includes the system and other accessories in a carry case, priced at $699.95 from www.coravin.com.au.
