A new Victorian-made, ultra-premium spirit called Voulez Vodka has launched, bringing together French couture and small-batch Australian craftsmanship.
Founded by French-born Tamara Craig and brought to life with Geelong boutique distillery Anther, Voulez Vodka is the result of a female-led partnership that brings together technical mastery and a strong sustainability mindset.
Distilled from a bespoke blend of locally sourced potatoes and Australian wheat, the spirit is crafted for both texture, purity and to appeal to the female palate. A rich potato spirit is cooked, fermented and distilled, before being blended with a clean wheat distillate and distilled once more to achieve its signature profile. The calibre of the raw ingredients eliminates the need for filtration, allowing the vodka to retain its full character, depth and natural clarity.
The result is a vodka that is textural, buttery-smooth and delicately sweet, with a crisp, clean finish designed to elevate everything from a classic martini to a simple serve over ice.
Craig said: “I was raised on what I like to call three Cs — couture, champagne and croissants. It’s brought me an innate understanding of elegance and of course, a touch of French ‘je ne sais quoi’, so that each bottle is more than simply a spirit to enjoy, but an experience to bask in and toast life’s defining moments.”
The collaboration with Anther Distillery further reinforces this ethos. Known for its commitment to small-batch production and precision distilling, the Geelong-based team brings technical mastery and a strong sustainability mindset to the partnership, a rarity in a category often dominated by large-scale production.
Within Anther Distillery, the spirit is brought to life under the guidance of its lead chemist, Dervilla McGowan, whose considered, detail-driven approach to distillation lends both precision and intuition to the final profile, adding further depth to a vodka designed for and crafted by modern femininity.
Voulez Vodka is available at select luxury retailers, bars, restaurants, hotels and boutique cellars.
