Archie Rose Distilling Co. has launched Triple Smoked Single Malt Whisky—a new release that showcases a distinctly Australian approach to smoke-forward spirits.
Triple Smoked is the result of more than a decade of exploration into smoke, flavour and technique. Rather than following the established path of imported peat-driven smoke, Archie Rose has developed a world-first approach using three layers of smoke: smoked malt, smoked casks and smoked water.
The whisky also uses native Australian stringybark timber to create its signature smoke profile, capturing the character of the Australian landscape through flavours of bonfire embers, smoked charcuterie, rich oak, roasted macadamia and charred lemon.
Triple Smoked Single Malt Whisky will be officially release on 27 July 2026, RRP of $139.99, 46% ABV.
To celebrate the launch, Archie Rose will host its inaugural whisky event, Archie Rose Presents Triple Smoked, a one-night-only experience that the distiller plans to hold as a recurring annual event.
The fire-led, immersive celebration of smoke across whisky, food and drink will see guests moving through live and interactive food stations centred around cooking over charcoal, flame and smoke.
Dishes created by Carolina Smoke will showcase bold, elemental Australian flavours built directly from fire and smoke techniques, including pork belly burnt ends with Archie Rose whisky glaze and tomahawk steaks with café de Paris butter.
The experience will also feature a dedicated drinks program including smoked-inspired cocktails and curated serves designed to complement the whisky profile, alongside guided tastings of the new Triple Smoked Single Malt Whisky. Live entertainment and additional immersive moments will run throughout the evening.
