Poco Vino expands its line-up

Poco Vino has added nine new products to its single-serve line-up, bringing Prosecco, Prosecco Rosé, five spritz flavours, Moscato and Raspberry Moscato to the range.

Designed for today’s lighter, more relaxed drinking occasions, the new wines are available in Poco Vino’s signature single serve bottle.

The five spritz flavours include Lemon, Peach, Watermelon, Passionfruit and Wild Berry, while the Prosecco styles tap into growing consumer interest in the category. Prosecco is now worth $205 million in Australia, with sales up 37% versus two years ago, making it the country’s fastest-growing segment of sparkling wine.

Australian Vintage CMO Emily Harper said: “Poco Vino is making wine more relevant and fun, especially to younger consumers. One in five baskets with Poco Vino in are new to wine, so it’s doing a great job of recruiting new consumers into the category.

“Having won over consumers by proving that great wine can come in a little bottle, Poco Vino is now dialling up the fun with the launch of Poco Vino Spritz and Prosecco. Playful, accessible and perfectly suited to modern lifestyles, this is an exciting new chapter for the brand, bringing fresh flavours, a little sparkle and even more ways to enjoy Poco Vino on more occasions.”

The brand has already made a big impact globally, selling 2.9 million bottles worldwide. It is currently ranged in 8059 stores across 17 countries, with a total of 46,300 distribution points globally.

Gifting will also hit stores later this month, with a selection of limited-edition offerings landing at different retailers, including the Poco Vino Rosé and Raspberry Lip Balm Gift Pack, featuring one 187mL Rosé and a 10ml raspberry lip balm in a beautiful box, a 12-pack selection box and a retailer exclusive 3-pk best sellers.

Each Poco Vino bottle is priced from $7 at selected liquor retailers nationwide.
