Belvedere launches new super-premium vodka in Australia

Belvedere has launched Belvedere 10, a vodka encased in a striking, sculpted bottle and crafted from the single harvest of a rye field.

The bottle’s design stands at 10 levels tall, in tribute to the liquid’s 10-step creation process. The white hue reflects the spirit’s purity, while its chiselled facets give a diamond-like sparkle – a nod to the organic Diamond Rye used to make the spirit.

Paying tribute to Belvedere’s origins, the spirit is inspired by the process used in 1910 when the distillery was first established. That recipe has now been remastered for a new generation.

Belvedere 10 begins with a single harvest of organic Diamond Rye, grown in a single field on an estate in north- east Poland. Crafted annually in small batches, the spirit is rested for 10 months to create a singular smoothness feel. It’s distilled four times to elevate the texture, depth, and dimensions of the spirit. Finally, is rested for exactly 10 months to marry the unique flavours and enhance the liquid’s velvety smooth mouthfeel.

“With Belvedere 10, taste, vision and mastery collide in one flawless performance,” said President and CEO of Belvedere Vodka Francois Xavier Desplancke.

“Capturing the unedited, uncompromising mood of modern culture, Belvedere 10 and its stunning bottle are simplistic in its purity, yet architecturally magnificent. From field to bottle, the rare organic Diamond Rye shines through every single step behind the creation of this opulent liquid.”

Belvedere 10 was first unveiled in selected European hotspots last June and has now officially launched in Australia at Dan Murphy’s and select venues nationally. RRP: $250.

Taika Waititi shoots second Belvedere campaign

Belvedere Vodka’s latest campaign by director Taika Waititi stages an intriguing ensemble that includes two white 70’s Rolls Royce’s, crocodile boots, a dilapidated hacienda turned night club, a New Zealand cowboy, a banging soundtrack, and the legendary Future.

The three-minute-length director’s cut opens on Future cruising in style along a dusty road at sunset. What follows is an atmospheric and humorous set piece showcasing Future in search of the new and elusive Belvedere 10.

The highlight is a memorable face-off between Future and Waititi executing an intricate and coded handshake.

Future said, “I loved that there was a readiness to craft something unedited, genuine, and resolute. I appreciated the concept that you cannot feign it; you must genuinely embody it. This campaign delivers its message unapologetically. It balances simplicity with architectural extravagance, much like Belvedere 10.”

Waititi said: “There is a fine line that allows humor and rebelliousness to exist within luxury. This campaign embodies a rare moment where this intersection meets. There is no doubt Belvedere is one of the coolest alcohol brands in the world.”
