The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival, a celebration the annual hop harvest, is returning to Frenchies Bistro & Brewery in Rosebery, Sydney.
The event, on 25 May 2024, will feature beers from leading independent breweries, including 2Halfs, One Drop Brewing Co, Rocks Brewing Co., Seeker Brewing, The Social Brewers, and Frenchies Brewery. It will provide an opportunity for visitors to try a wide range of unique beers all in the one place, as they chat with the brewers and learn about the inspiration behind their creations.
New this year, a Hop Olympics will run at scheduled times throughout the day, and feature a hop matching challenge, where guests will be invited to pair select hops with their accompanying beers.
Additionally, educational panels covering hop trends, releases and usages will take place within Frenchies’ new, expanded brewery space.
Event founder Vincent de Soyres, Brewery Director & Co-Founder of Frenchies Bistro & Brewery said: “Hops are what make our world go round, and we love nothing more than incorporating new releases and freshly picked varieties in our
brews. So, what better way to celebrate them, than with an event dedicated to all things hops!
“Given the challenges the industry has been facing of late, this year in particular we see The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival as an important opportunity to highlight the creativity and talent of some of our fellow independents, and provide a platform for beer fans to come together to support and recognise independent beer producers at a time when they need it most.”
The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival will be held at The Cannery in Rosebery, Sydney, from 12-8pm on 25 May. Learn more here.
