Australia’s top non-alcoholic summer drinks

Liquorland has revealed sales of non-alcoholic drinks are booming at its stores across Australia, rising 18% in the last 12 months.

Coles added 41 new non-alcoholic products to its Liquorland line-up in 2025, following a 29% sales increase from 2023. Baby boomers were the biggest buyers, with 60% of alcohol-free sales coming from the over-60s.

Christmas and New Year’s Eve have led to another surge in sales, ahead of what promises to be a Dry January for the record books.

Great Northern’s winning streak

Booming sales for Great Northern Zero during the festive season following Great Northern Super Crisp being named Australia’s biggest selling beer in 2025, the fifth year it’s taken out the title.

Market research company Circana combined its data with stats from Dan Murphy’s and Asahi and Lion to determine the top 10 beer brands for the year.

Asahi Beverages Group Chief Executive Amanda Sellers told the Daily Telegraph: “We are a national of beer lovers but it’s great to see moderation is no longer just a trend, it’s a permanent part of Aussie beer culture.
