Grey Goose Lemon Ace sells out at Australian Open

The signature drink of the Australia Open, the Grey Goose Lemon Acehas sold out ahead of finals weekend in its second year on court.

Sales surged by 670% year on year during opening week alone and 90% over the first two weeks.

Now firmly established as a core part of the Australian Open experience, the Grey Goose Lemon Ace was created to be the Southern Hemisphere’s answer to the US Open’s iconic Honey Deuce, a refreshing, citrus-forward serve designed specifically for summer tennis in Melbourne.

Developed through a year-long collaboration between Tennis Australia’s Head of Product Growth and Innovation, Fern Barrett, and Grey Goose Global Director of Brand Experience Joe McCanta, the cocktail captures the energy, optimism and rhythm of the Australian summer.

The serve blends Grey Goose Vodka with passionfruit syrup and sparkling lemonade, finished with a distinctive spinning “tennis ball” lemon zest and fresh mint garnish.

“From day one, the Grey Goose Lemon Ace was designed to feel like an extension of the Australian Open – vibrant, social and unmistakably summery,” said Fern Barrett, Head of Product Growth and Innovation at Tennis Australia.

“The fact that it has sold out ahead of finals weekend this season shows just how deeply it has been embraced by fans as part of the AO ritual.”

Throughout the 2026 Australian Open, fans were able to enjoy the Grey Goose Lemon Ace either as a freshly mixed serve ($23) or as an AO-exclusive ready-to-drink can ($17.90), available across Melbourne Park and The Grey Goose Courtside Bar.

“For Grey Goose, it’s always about celebrating the art of taking time for pleasure, that sense of joy, ease and connection,” said Joe McCanta, Grey Goose Global Director of Brand Experience.

“At the Australian Open, the Grey Goose Lemon Ace invites fans to slow the moment, savour the serve of the summer and really immerse themselves in the joie de vivre of courtside life. Watching it become such a strong part of the tournament culture has been incredibly special.”

Across the opening weeks of the tournament, the Grey Goose Lemon Ace has also become a familiar sight courtside and in the stands, spotted in the hands of a number of well-known faces including Nadia Bartel, Josh Daicos, Annalise Dalins, Dylan Alcott, Costeen Hatzi and Rebecca Harding.

The Grey Goose Lemon Ace was served at the Grey Goose Courtside Bar, premium hospitality spaces and select locations throughout Melbourne Park.
