Australia’s top 5 pub orders 

New data has revealed that Australians are traditionalists at heart when it comes to drinks and food orders at their local pub.

The hospitality rewards platform for ALH Hotels—pub+—has released its “State of the Pub” report for 2026. After hitting a massive milestone of one million members just 18 months after launch, the platform has tracked what Australians are eating and drinking across more than 350 local venues.

The “Top 5” member dishes and drinks reveal a nation obsessed with the classics.

ALH Hotels General Manager – Marketing & Loyalty Phil Oneile said: “Reaching one million members in under two years shows that the ‘local’ is more important to Aussies than ever.

“We’ve seen that while people want the convenience of an app, they are still coming in for that same classic Parma and cold beer they’ve loved for decades and now they’re getting rewarded for it.”

To celebrate the one-million-member milestone, pub+ is offering the chance to play for $1 million. From now until 12 April 2026, any member who scans their app or orders via pub+ at a participating venue receives an entry. On 14 April, one person will be chosen for a high-stakes, in-venue game to determine if they walk away as Australia’s newest millionaire.
