The Australian Distillers Association (ADA) has launched its inaugural ADA Industry Awards — a national program designed to recognise excellence, innovation and leadership across the sector.
Open exclusively to ADA members, the awards have been created to shine a light on the people, businesses and ideas shaping the future of Australian distilling. From emerging producers to established operations, the program celebrates achievement
at every stage and scale of the industry.
The awards will be presented at the ADA Gala Awards Dinner on 18 June 2026 in Adelaide, as part of the ADA Conference: Festival of Distilling, the industry’s annual gathering of distillers, suppliers, partners and leaders from across the country.
Award categories include:
- Distiller of the Year
- Emerging Distillery Award
- Innovation Award
- Safety Award
- Sustainability & Responsibility Award
ADA President David Ridden said: “Launching the ADA Industry Awards is a significant step forward for Australian
distilling.
“We have an industry full of incredibly talented, hard-working producers who are building brands, creating jobs and contributing to their communities. These awards give us a platform to recognise that work and celebrate it together.
“It will be a true night of nights in Adelaide this June, and I encourage all members to take part whether that’s entering the awards or joining us to support the finalists and winners.”
Entries are now open, with a streamlined submission process designed to make participation achievable for businesses of all sizes. Distilleries have been invited to submit a short written entry highlighting their achievements, with optional supporting material to bring their story to life.
Entries close Monday 27 April at 6pm, with finalists announced in May. Learn more here.
