Tickets on sale for milestone Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Lunch

Wine Communicators of Australia (WCA) and the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) are once again joining forces to celebrate 200 years of agricultural excellence at the Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Lunch.

Held on 21 August, the event will honour the 2026 Sydney Royal Wine Trophy winners while recognising the enduring contribution of the wine show system over two centuries.

Attendees will be among the first to hear which wines have been awarded top honours at the 2026 Sydney Royal Wine Show, and will celebrate alongside the winning winemakers. They will also enjoy an unrivalled range of this year’s award-winning wines – showcasing the breadth and diversity of some of our finest Australian wines, while savouring a three-course menu curated by the talented chefs at The Four Seasons Sydney.

National Chair of WCA Lynda Schenk said: “We are delighted to partner with the RAS and the Sydney Royal Wine Show once again to host what is undoubtedly my favourite Sydney wine event. This year is particularly special, a reminder of the role that Wine Show awards play in communicating value and wine quality.

“A Sydney Royal Wine Show medal or Trophy is one of the most recognised and trusted marks in Australian wine. In a milestone year like this, that recognition carries even more weight than ever, and is truly something that deserves celebrating.”

Chair of the Sydney Royal Wine, Beer and Spirits Committee Angus Barnes said: “As we celebrate 200 years of the Sydney Royal Wine Show, this lunch is a reminder of our remarkable community that gathers to bring about a wine show and highlight the pursuit of excellence.

“Sommeliers, winemakers, growers, marketers, judges, wine trade and the wine-loving public, all coming together to celebrate the Sydney Royal Trophy winners. It’s a wonderful reminder of just how much the show has played in tracing the evolution and styles of Australian wine over two centuries.”
