Made in the Inner West Festival launches

Some of the best-known breweries, musicians and independent makers in Sydney’s Inner West are joining forces this November for the Made in the Inner West Festival.

The new 10-day festival, running from 6-15 November 2026, will bring together 13 breweries and 13 local businesses for a series of exclusive beer collaborations, alongside live music, food, markets and pop-ups across the Inner West Ale Trail.

And there’s a familiar face leading the music program. Australian singer/songwriter and professional new music enthusiast (as well as Inner West local) Ben Lee will curate a free one-day progressive live music showcase on Saturday 7 November, performing across local breweries alongside a handpicked lineup of Inner West artists.

For the festival, 13 Inner West breweries have teamed up with 13 local producers and businesses to create limited-edition beers that will only be available during the event.

Some of the more unexpected pairings include Grifter × A.P Bakery, Heaps Normal × Mapo Gelato, Bracket × Miss Sina and Pickled Monkey × Donut Garage. Meanwhile, Young Henrys × Reverse Garbage brings together two neighbourhood institutions with a shared taste for doing things differently.

The full line-up spans bakers, gelato makers, coffee roasters, distillers, record bars and more, with each collaboration putting its own spin on a festival-exclusive brew.

Inner West Brewers’ Association President Richard Adamson said: “There’s no shortage of people doing great things in the Inner West, whether it’s food, music, art or beer. We wanted to bring some of our favourite local businesses together, get them trying something different and see what they come up with. That’s what makes this festival exciting.

Made in the Inner West is free to attend, with family-friendly and dog-friendly venues taking part. Learn more here.
