Drinks Digest discovered the “New York Happy Meal” this week and we’re obsessed.

This adult-oriented, upscale “happy meal” consists of a martini and a side of fries. No one knows seems to know who invented it, but the combo was born in New York and has soared in popularity, appearing on the menus of cocktail bars and restaurants across the city. 

TikTok and other social media have brought the combination to a wider audience and its taken off globally, with Bacardi preparing to take the concept one step further at a ‘Grey Goose Chip Shop’ in London during December.

The late night dining and martini cocktail pop-up experience will bring together perfectly chilled Gray Goose martini cocktails and indulgent French fries from 4-5th December in Greek Street, Soho.
