Melbourne’s favourite celebration of all things bubbles is back, with the 9th annual Prosecco Festival returning to Abbotsford Convent on 28 February 2026.
Festival-goers have the chance to meet growers, winemakers and importers, with more than 50 different Proseccos to explore.
This year’s festival brings together a sparkling line-up of both Italian and Australian producers, alongside Van Di Vino— Australia’s original Prosecco and Spritz Bar— plus wines by the glass, award-winning craft beer, food and a curated soundtrack.
From Italy, guests can look forward to tasting bubbles from Babo, Bandini, Belussi, Calneggia Family Vineyards, Cipriani Bellini and Tivo Spritz. Representing Australia are Dal Zotto Wines, Edenvale, Austins Wines, Box Grove Vineyard, Brown Brothers, Cloak and Dagger, De Bortoli Wines, Innocent Bystander, Santa & D’Sas, Tar & Roses, Taylor Ferguson and Vino Intrepido, with more names to be announced.
Beer lovers can enjoy craft brews from King River Brewing on the lawn and other sparkling varieties will be available for those wishing to explore beyond Prosecco.
Confirmed food vendors for 2026 include Arrostocini from Abruzzo Lab, Il Panzerotto – Taste of Puglia, and Arancini Art, all parked alongside Van Di Vino, Australia’s Prosecco Van, serving up chilled Aperol Spritz and wines.
For those craving an elevated experience, each session includes an exclusive VIP Masterclass hosted by the Prosecco Queen Melissa Brauer. This 45-minute guided tasting showcases four different and unique Prosecco styles, paired with antipasto and cheese. VIP guests will also be welcomed with an Aperol Spritz on arrival, courtesy of Dal Zotto and Aperol. The VIP Masterclass for Session One begins at 11:30am and Session Two commences at 5:00pm, both held in the Oratory at the far end of the Sacred Heart Courtyard.

Tickets include an elegant, tulip-shaped Plumm sparkling wine tasting glass to take home. Tastings of all wines are included in the ticket price, with additional wines by the glass available directly from exhibitors for $12. Aperol Spritz and wines by the glass will also be available for purchase on the lawn via Van Di Vino.
