“The Top 6 List is a way for us to share our knowledge and insights with wider drinkers to make it easier to pick out the perfect bottle for any occasion.
“The Top 6 list has everything from cult, Australian classics ideal for cellaring and investing, to cool-climate local white wines that are drinking beautifully now to complement any celebration throughout 2026. It also features a release from the latest 2022 Bordeaux vintage which has been marked one of the best in the region’s recent history.”
The list was dominated by local, Australian wines across both white and red wine categories to further attest to the quality of the local wine industry alongside its international counterparts.
“Australian wine is just constantly reaching new heights thanks to innovation of our local wineries and their viticulture and winemaking teams who constantly strive to put our country on the wine map globally,” Grischy said.
“We’re always proud to share this Top 6 list, but especially so when it features such a strong Australian presence that sees our local wines rival the world’s best.”
