Two new rosé spritz drinks for summer

Pernod Ricard has debuted ROSIE rosé spritz just in time for summer picnics, barbecues and catch ups.

The drink features flavours of strawberries, juicy raspberries and a hint of cherry, and is targeted at consumers seeking a ready-to-drink alternative to cider or beer.

Kristy Farrell, ROSIE Wine Ambassador said: “We’re really excited to give Aussie’s a new, convenient Rosé spritz just in time as the weather is warming up, making ROSIE a great option for drinks with friends or family.

“Crisp and full of fruity flavours, ROSIE pairs really nicely with a range of food, we see it as the go-to drink this Summer!

“It’s especially perfect for those seeking a lighter alternative to other RTD’s that are currently available on the market.”

ROSIE is available to purchase in four-packs for $25 at Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores across Australia.

Pizzini releases three spritzed wines in cans

Pizzini Wines has also launched new spritzed wines in a can, including a Rosé Spritz.

There are three varieties in the range – Prosecco, Rosé Spritz and Pinot Grigio Spritz – lightly sparkling win 250ml aluminium cans.

Made from 100% King Valley fruit the wines have nothing else added except the bubbles.

Natalie Pizzini, Marketing Manager of Pizzini Wines, said ‘aperitivo hour’ has always been an important part of life for the Pizzini family in Australia, just as it is for their Italian relatives.

“It provides a special time each day to stop, relax and reflect,” Pizzini said. “And having a spritz is an integral part of the aperitivo experience. With our new spritz cans, you don’t have to open a whole bottle to be able to enjoy the quintessential Italian Aperitivo Hour. Now everyone can awaken their inner Italian this summer!”

The cans are available to purchase in single varietal four-packs (RRP$22) or a carton of 24 (RRP$120), and are sold nationally through First Choice, Liquorland and Vintage Cellars, as well as direct from www.Pizzini.com.au. A sampler carton is also available from Pizzini and includes eight cans of each variety.
