Yellow Tail looks on the bright side with new ad

Yellow Tail wines has released a vibrant new ad for the brand, called “Hello Yellow Tail”.

The ad celebrates the little things like “having an awesome hair day” or “finding your missing sock”. The 30-second spot is splashed with bright yellow and features an Aussie woman cheerily naming all her favourite things about life (without a single animatronic kangaroo in sight).

Earlier this year, market analyst Wine Intelligence named Yellow Tail as its No.1 Most Powerful Wine Brand in the World for 2020.

It’s the third consecutive year that the brand has topped power survey overall. It had widespread approval, and placed in the top 5 with consumers surveyed in Canada, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, the UK and the US.

Although there had been an overall decline in the brand’s global awareness, but the study found it has a strong connection score and a loyal customer base, which helped it to retain its top spot.

Drinks International ‘World’s Most Admired Wine Brands’ list for 2020 also included the brand, ranking it No.20.

A judging panel made up of 200 wine buyers and wine connoisseurs from 48 different countries cast their votes based on taste, quality, marketing and packaging and whether the bottles reflect its region or country and appeal to a wide demographic.
