Exciting news for Aperol Spritz fans … ready-to-serve bottles will arrive at e-commerce sites and in bottle shops from January 2021.
The pre-mixed cocktail is made using Aperol, sparkling wine and soda, with each individual bottle showcasing the unmistakable orange Italian aperitif and its vibrancy. To enjoy, simply pour into a wine glass filled with ice, and garnish with a fresh orange wedge for the ultimate Aperol Spritz experience.
Aperol marked its centenary last year – it was launched in 1919 at the Padua International Fair by the Barbieri brothers, Luigi and Silvio. They took inspiration from the French term for apéritif, ‘Apéro‘ for their creation. Aperitifs are drinks served before meals.
Aperol has been a mainstay in Italy ever since, but the rest of the world only caught on about five years ago. It’s now Campari’s best-selling product, representing roughly one fifth of its annual sales.

The new Aperol Spritz Ready to Serve three-packs of 175ml bottles will have an RRP of $18.
