“We live and breathe Guinness and feel so proud to be featured in the company of so many fantastic Irish Bars worldwide,” the pub noted on Facebook.

Guinness parent company Diageo said: “St Patrick’s Day 2021 will look different, with many pubs at home and abroad still closed. As we look forward to all the laughter and craic of being back in the local, Guinness is celebrating the pub on a global scale and inviting people to enjoy the unique magic of the pub experience safely at home this St Patrick’s Day.

“The ‘Guinness Global Pub Greening’, will see Guinness, in partnership with Tourism Ireland, help pubs around the globe turn green this St. Patrick’s Day – quite literally shining a light on your local.

“From Dublin to Kuala Lumpur, Amsterdam to Sydney and everywhere in between – pubs will turn green collectively to celebrate a St. Patrick’s Day unlike any other. What’s more, the iconic Home of Guinness, the Guinness Storehouse, as well as the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore, US will also turn green for the occasion.”

Guinness Global Brand Director Grainne Wafer said: “Guinness is proud to bring the magic of the pub to people’s homes as we look forward to being back in the local with friends for laughter, craic and a cold, smooth Guinness when government restrictions are eased.”
