Young Henrys and Brissy’s Dune Rats are bring back their iconic Dunies Lager, in celebration of the band’s upcoming album Real Rare Whale and its national tour kicking off.

Young Henrys Dunies lager is infused with heavy hop and nose flavour. Matching the electrifying energy of the band, the lager is mixed with a feisty pop of Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado and Azacca hops to bring out a rich flavour, yet still mellow enough for easy-going drinking. Both can and case also feature artwork from long-time Dune Rats collaborator and artist Lee McConnell.

“Dunies in a can tastes like music to your stomach, we hope you get as much into ya while stocks last,” the band said.

The tinnies folklore began with a bet between the Young Henrys and Dune Rats boys surrounding the success of their album, The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit. The LP ended up surpassing all expectations, with the tunes and brew eventually becoming coveted fan-favourites throughout the years.

Making a triumphant comeback for the release of Dune Rats’ forthcoming album, Real Rare Whale, which includes a much anticipated return to live stages, fans can buy Dunies Lager online or at all upcoming Dune Rats warehouse shows taking place between Friday, July 29 and Thursday, August 4, including two sold out venues in both Sydney and Brisbane.
