Patrón Tequila has released a $11,000 premium spirit – PATRÓN en LALIQUE: Serie 3 – in Australia.

The third release in collaboration with French glass master LALIQUE has been curated at Hacienda PATRÓN by Master Distiller David Rodriguez and his team. It blends 14 different tequilas, each aged for up to eight years in French and American oak barrels before selected and combined to create an exceptionally rare extra Añejo tequila.

“Our familia of talented craftsmen are constantly experimenting to create bold innovations that stay true to the PATRÓN commitment to handcrafted perfection,” Rodriguez.

“We explored many combinations of extra Añejo tequilas before landing on the liquid excellence that can be found in PATRÓN en LALIQUE: Serie 3.” 

PATRÓN en LALIQUE: Serie 3 has a sweet and smooth flavour featuring hints of spices, dried fruits, sherry wine and intense wood, and is distinguished by its crystalline colour. Each decanter is handmade and individually numbered at their France factory by LALIQUE’s expert team of glassmakers, utilising both modern and traditional techniques.

With only 299 bottles available worldwide, three 750ml (40% ABV) bottles of the exclusive release of PATRÓN en LALIQUE: Serie 3 is available to purchase exclusively at Dan Murphy’s for $11,000 RRP.

Tequila super-fans also have an opportunity to enjoy this luxury tequila at Bar Patrón in Sydney, with two bottles available to purchase by the glass.
