Australia’s largest independently owned drinks wholesaler, Paramount Liquor, is taking its new bi-annual forum Future Proof to Brisbane on August 8.
Future Proof is an evening aimed at providing enriching conversations and informative insights about the liquor industry, together with networking opportunities with suppliers and like-minded hospitality alumni.
Future Proof will be held The Lussh in Woolloongabba, with Paramount’s Evolution Marketing partners across beer, wine, spirits and mixers will take part in the event showcasing and educating guests on new products.

“August 8 will be a night of new experiences and meaningful discussions,” said one of Paramount Liquor’s two directors Nathan Rowe.
“Guests will leave Future Proof Brisbane looking ahead and excited by what the future will bring. Paramount is proud to facilitate connections and educate the industry,”
Panel discussions tailored to the Queensland on-premise attendees will share insights, recommendations and learnings.
Sam Bygrave, the editor and founder of Boothby Media, will host three panel discussions throughout the evening. The first panel, Future Proof Your Brand, combines Bygrave’s 20 years experience in the industry as a bartender, wine and spirits buyer and writer alongside Wade Tiller from Hard Fizz and Daisy Tulley from the Mucho Group.
For the second panel, Future Proof Our Industry, Bygrave will be joined by award-winning bartender Evan Stroeve for
what will no doubt be a spirited discussion around sustainable practices, education and development within the industry.
The final panel, Future Proof Brisbane, will see three powerhouses of Brisbane hospitality take to the stage: Jamie Fleming from Alba Bar & Deli, award winning hospitality operator Bonnie Shearston from the newly opened Ruby, My
Dear and high achieving bartender Andie Bulley from Savile Row and The 86 Club. They will have an open discussion about the opportunities available for a long and fulfilling career within the hospitality industry of Brisbane.
Carlton & United Beverages (CUB) has partnered with Paramount Liquor on the evening to support attendance for
Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast customers. There will be complimentary buses from pickup locations at the Gold
Coast (Surfers Paradise) and the Sunshine Coast (Noosa & Woombye).
