Irish Whiskey Liqueur Shanky’s Whip has signed a new distribution deal with drinks distributor Amber Beverage Group as it eyes expansion in Australia.  

Distilled in County Cavan and blended and bottled by Shanky and Shireman under bond in Ireland, Shanky’s Whip bridges the gap between Irish whiskey and liqueur – two prominent, growing categories.   

Using a blend of Irish spirits and aged pot still whiskey, Shanky’s Whip uses the natural flavours of vanilla infused with caramel to create a dark and distinctive spirit that is creamy and smooth with buttery, vanilla notes and a sweet spice and butterscotch finish with long Irish whiskey notes.  

Shanky’s Whip has become a staple for many bartenders around the world, who use in classic cocktails such as the Espresso Martini and the Old Fashioned. It’s also served over ice for sipping and on shot menus.
