Bartender tennis returns for summer

Put your cocktail shaker down and dust-off your tennis whites because the Hickson House Bartender Tennis Summer Cup is back.

The competition is open to all cocktail slinging and racquet swinging bartenders and is an opportunity to join together for a day filled with backhands, beats and beverages at Trumper Park Tennis Club, in Paddington, Sydney.

Hickson House will be crowning Sydney’s best tennis-playing bartender in the Mixed Singles tournament, as well as the best bar team in the new Doubles competition.

Alongside a giant serving of tennis, Hickson House will be laying on a line-up of cocktails, courtside tunes and a BBQ lunch between 11am and 3.30pm on Monday, 23 October.

The winner of the mixed singles competition will score a year’s supply of Hickson House Gin and a $1000 Hickson House Bar & Dining Voucher.

The bar team that wins the doubles competition will take home a $500 Hickson House Bar & Dining Voucher and a case of Hickson House Gin.

Not playing? You can still join the event for a drink at the Clubhouse Bar and cheer on your mates.

The new kings or queens of the court will be feted afterwards at the Lord Dudley Hotel from 4–5:30pm.
