Young Henrys has added a crisp new tinnie to its core range called Young Henrys Cold XPA.
It joins the ranks of Young Henrys classics including the Newtowner, Hazy Pale Ale, IPA, Stayer Mid Strength, Cloudy Cider and Ginger Beer. Born out of the growing trend of “cold brew”, the beer is brewed at a lower temperature that is reminiscent of a lager.
It features citrus and tropical aromas, a balanced 15 IBU bitterness, and a sessionable 4% ABV. Its unique malt profile includes pale, carapils, and malted oats, harmonised by a careful blend of Topaz, Cascade, and Galaxy hops, the Cold XPA is brewed cold and enjoyed colder.
“We wanted to bring in another offering for the upcoming summer that was severely crushable, but that was also massively hop forward,” said Young Henrys Head Brewer Jesse Searles.
“We had been talking about doing this kind of beer style (which is pretty new) for a while now and felt like this was the perfect opportunity.”
You’ll find Cold XPA at your nearest pub, while four packs/cases are exclusive to Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars. RRP (ranging from): $16/4-pack. RRP (ranging from): $57/case. Learn more here.
