ALH Hotels is joining with Support Act to support Australia’s live music industry as part of Ausmusic month.
Australia’s music scene is renowned as an international powerhouse, filled with exceptional talent, creative minds and technical brilliance.
As part of its commitment to Australia’s live music scene, ALH Hotels will be donating one dollar for each ticket sold at participating events through the month of November, with all proceeds going to Support Act ahead of Ausmusic T-Shirt Day on November 30.
Support Act provides a vital lifeline to those who work in the music industry and need a helping hand; whether it
be through financial aid or through the delivery of mental health programs.
ALH National Entertainment Manager Sharlene Harris said ALH was the largest booker of live music events through its pub network across Australia.
“Australia’s musical landscape has its legacy embedded in pub culture and it’s something we at ALH are proud to
support,” Harris said.
“Live music is a part of who we are so we can create even more social moments together across Australia’s largest pub network.”
Over the years, ALH venues have helped pave the way for emerging artists including Amyl and the Sniffers, King Stingray, The Chats, Polaris, Hockey Dad and Dune Rats as well as host household names such as Hoodoo Gurus, The Angels,
Screaming Jets and Jon Stevens.
ALH will also have an array of other fundraising opportunities including setting up collection points at bar
counters, and hosting events onsite.
