Brown Brothers has emerged as the most powerful brand in the Australian wine market according to the IWSR Australia Landscapes Report.
IWSR is the leading source of data and intelligence on the beverage alcohol market. Its Wine Landscape Reports provide detailed consumer insights on wine drinking habits, consumption and retail trends, contextualised with wine market data.

Overtaking Jacob’s Creek and Penfolds, MIlawa-based Brown Brothers took out the top position based on combination of awareness, conversion, and connection metrics among Australia’s regular wine drinkers. The top three most powerful brands are all domestically produced, which Brown Brothers said indicated the strength and preference for supporting local wineries among Australian consumers.
Brown Brothers is famed for its prosecco and award-winning Patricia range.

“This achievement is a remarkable milestone for Brown Brothers and reinforces our dedication to crafting exceptional wines that capture the hearts and palates of Australian wine lovers,” said winemaker Katherine Brown.
“We are extremely proud of this incredible acknowledgement from Australian wine drinkers to be recognised as the most powerful brand, but we remain grateful to our loyal consumers and industry partners who have played a significant role in building the strength of the Brown Brothers brand.”
