Ordermentum launches loyalty program

Hospitality industry platform Ordermentum has officially launched its loyalty program and is celebrating by partnering with Qantas Business Rewards to give businesses the option to convert the Ordermentum Rewards Points they earn to Qantas
Points.

The program was rolled out in December with a soft launch to a limited number of venues and can now be accessed across the entire network.

Since its inception in 2014, Ordermentum’s ordering and payments platform for the wholesale food and beverage industry has expanded rapidly and is now used to place more than $1.3billion in orders annually.

Comprising half the country’s hospitality sector, the 40,000 venues that use Ordermentum can join Ordermentum Rewards loyalty program and can earn points for everyday actions like connecting with and paying a new supplier.

Founder and CEO Adam Theobald said: “We’ve had a fantastic response with our soft launch. Over two thousand venues have signed up to the program so far, and, as we add more rewards, we’ll put it out to venues to suggest other
partners they’d like to see as part of the program.

“Being a venue owner-operator can be a thankless job at times. We wanted to try to reward them for being a part of this incredibly important industry that we all depend on.

“Hospitality is tough, but the past couple of years have been even harder than usual. That’s why we’re so pleased to have Qantas Business Rewards on board. We know how valuable it’ll be for venue owners to earn and convert their points
towards a well-deserved trip or other rewards.”

The rewards initiative from Ordermentum follows its $16 million capital raise and acquisition of wholesale food marketplace Foodbomb in September and is part of its commitment to supporting venue owners and the hospitality industry at large.
