Just one bottle of 50 Year Old Glenfiddich Whisky is coming to Australia and the only way you can taste the dram is via an exclusive retreat in Newcastle.

Earp Distilling Co. will host an all-inclusive whisky experience in May 2024 that will feature some of Glenfiddich’s most exclusive casks – the Glenfiddich 30, 40 and 50YO.

“Tasting a 50 year old Glenfiddich is a once in a lifetime experience,” said Glenfiddich Brand Ambassador Ross Blaney.

“Being able to experience half a century of history, passion, hard work and elemental influence in one sip is something incredibly rare and something not to be missed.”

Toted as “Simultaneous Time”, the Glenfiddich 50 is a maverick aged whisky. As the years accumulated in a cask increase, so does the rarity of the whisky inside. Each sip is the experience of five decades all at once – the inextricable link between liquid and time. The presentation of this bottle alone speaks to the high-end nature of this spirit – each decanter is hand blown and the external packaging of the 50 Year Old is a reflection of the climatic conditions in Scotland where this whisky was aged.

The Glenfiddich retreat, priced at $11,999 per person, includes:
