Proof & Company has expanded its Australian portfolio, announcing a strategic partnership with Husk Distillers.

Husk is Australia’s only farm to bottle rum distillery and the country’s biggest rum exporter.  The distillery has been pioneering a new style of Australian rum for the last 12 years whilie nestled on the Messenger family’s farm in the Tweed Valley, Northern NSW.

From May 1, Proof & Company will serve as the exclusive distributor for Husk Distillers’ range of spirits, including their innovative Australian sipping rums and the cult classic Ink Gin.

“Starting life in a small shed at Husk Farm in 2012 it took more than 3 years before we were ready to offer our first bottles of Ink Gin for sale in July 2015. Later that year we released our first barrel of Husk Rum,” said Paul Messenger, Husk Distiller Owner.
