CBCo Brewing (formerly Colonial Brewing Company) has added a new product to its range of craft beers, ales and ciders, Goldy Lager.
Goldy is brewed with a malt profile of Pale, Vienna and Flaked Maize to produce a crisp, balanced and uncomplicated flavour. The product is also housed in a striking gold can, paying homage to the brand’s long-standing brewing heritage.
CBCo Brewing (CBCo) will celebrate 20 years of brewing history this year. Born in Margaret River in 2004, CBCo was one of the first breweries to establish themselves in the heart of Western Australia’s iconic wine region. Since then, the brand has
expanded east, opening a state-of-the-art brewery in Port Melbourne in 2016, which has capacity to brew 8,000,000L of product per year utilising the latest in production technology.
Known for its range of premium craft beers, CBCo have expanded its brewing in recent years to also produce lagers, with Goldy joining Middy and Zero Lager.

CBCo Managing Director Lawrence Dowd said: “We are really excited to deliver another great tasting Australian beer to the market. Goldy Lager is crisp and refreshingly easy to drink; it’s a great addition to weekend drinks with friends, or your next Sunday session.”
Goldy Lager is available at select bottle shops, including Dan Murphy’s (national), First Choice Liquor Market (WA & VIC), BWS (WA & VIC) and independents.
