New food & brewing hub for Western Sydney

A lively new gastronomic hub called Manufactor has opened in the historic Crane Enfield Metal factory in Penrith, Western Sydney.

The dynamic space is promising visitors a fusion of culinary delight and history, where products are not just crafted but also showcased, savoured and sold directly to the local community.

Manufactor has transformed the Crane Enfield Metal factory, a historical Western Sydney building dating back to the early 1960s. From authentic industrial relics to captivating murals adorning the walls, every corner of Manufactor narrates the story of Penrith’s vibrant past.

Among the offerings at Manufactor are Drink West Brewery, the latest addition to Penrith’s craft beer scene; Brisket Boys, an authentic taste of American barbecue; Flappy’s Fried Chicken, a tantalising example of Louisiana-style fried chicken; Burger Point, American-style burgers with a Filipino twist; Harvest B, plant-based proteins, and Montecatini Smallgoods, small goods made using true Italian curing methods.

Drink West Brewery is open to the public and offers visitors a unique experience of sitting, drinking, and immersing themselves in the brewing process. It offers eight beers on tap: lager, Mid-Strength, Pale Ale, Nitro Stout, IPA, XPA Oat Cream, Pilsner, and hibiscus lime gose.

The brewery is owned by UFC fighters Tyson Pedro and Tai Tuivasa, with Penrith Panthers National Rugby League star Nathan Cleary a major shareholder.
