Coopers Brewery has hired a venue manager and is on the hunt for 25 staff as it prepares to open a restaurant and bar at its new visitor centre in Regency Park, South Australia.
The $70 million development is nearing completion and includes a restaurant and bar, dedicated tasting room, interactive history display, merchandise store and an expansive outdoor plaza dining area.
A new microbrewery and whisky distillery are also being installed on site as part of the two-storey development.
Permanent and casual positions are being offered across front and back of house including roles for chefs, beer ambassadors, bar assistants and kitchen hands, as well as Head Chef, Sous Chef and Assistant Manager.

One of Australia’s most experienced hospitality professionals, Peter Morelli (above), has already been appointed as Venue Manager. Morelli was Inducted into the Restaurant and Catering Association of Australia’s Hall of Fame in 2015 for his contribution and commitment to the hospitality and tourism industries.
Most recently, he steered the world-renowned visitor food and wine experiences at the d’Arenberg Cube (McLaren Vale) and Penfolds Cellar Doors (Magill Estate and Barossa Valley). He has also overseen hospitality and functions at SkyCity, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide Festival Centre and the historic Lion Hotel.
“I’ve enjoyed a close association with Coopers throughout my career and have always thought if the right position came along I would love to join this great family business,” Morelli said.
“I’m excited to develop an immersive destination that connects visitors with Coopers’ proud history, provides insight into the brewing process and allows the opportunity to taste the best of Australian beer.”
Coopers Brewery Managing Director Dr Tim Cooper said: “Peter impressed us with his passion for exceptional customer service and dedication to creating iconic hospitality offerings.
“We’re delighted to have Peter on board to help us deliver a truly world-class and welcoming experience for all our guests.”

“I’m looking for passionate people who love a beer, enjoy interacting with others and want to be part of something truly special.
“Anyone interested in joining us can find information on the roles on our website or directly via Seek.
“We’re looking to have our team ready to hit the ground running when the doors open to the public in August.”
