Château Tanunda launches dining dome experience

Château Tanunda is taking over the Luna Lu Dining Dome in The Rocks until mid-September with a fine wine and dining experience.

Visitors and Sydneysiders alike can book a spot to taste and sip Château Tanunda wines while staying warm and enjoying the stunning Sydney Harbour views.

Guests will enjoy a curated selection of Château Tanunda’s wines, including some of the newly released 2024 Collection, matched to a specialty four-course Asian Fusion banquet served by the team at Luna Lu, overlooking the Sydney Opera House.

Cosy red blankets, gold adornments and vines have transformed this dining dome experience, bringing a touch of the South Australian winery to the Sydney Harbour.

The full Dining Dome experience includes natural oysters, sticky pork belly, crispy duck and Thai rice noodle salad. A chef’s selection of desserts finishes off the session.

“The Luna Lu team has crafted a delicious menu that is expertly paired with Château Tanunda wines exclusively for the Dining Dome experience,” said Château Tanunda Managing Director Michelle Geber.

“It’s truly an excellent opportunity to take in Sydney this winter. Between Château Tanunda’s iconic winemaking and the incredible views of the harbour from Luna Lu, a luxury experience like the Dining Dome was fitting.”

The Château Tanunda Sydney Cellar Door is located within a short walking distance at 2 Nurses Walk, The Rocks, where guests can enjoy an additional tasting and purchase the wines they’ve enjoyed.

The experience retails for $200 per person (including the four-course degustation menu and paired wines). Bookings can be made at lunalu.com.au/dining-dome.
