Peter Lehmann Wines has announced the launch of BAROSSAN X, a new wine range that puts three innovative twists on the classic Barossa Valley Shiraz.

Each varietal in the series marries the rich flavours of Barossa Shiraz with the exuberance of alternative varietals.

Peter Lehmann Senior Brand Manager Alfred Loo said: “Peter Lehmann himself believed rules existed to be bent, broken, blended and amended.

“With this range, we aim to rewrite the rules of traditional Barossa Shiraz, introducing three exceptional varietals that showcase the diversity and vibrance of our vineyards.”

The three new varietals featured in the BAROSSAN X range include: Twisted Shiraz with Tempranillo; Daring Shiraz with a dash of Montepulciano; and Radical Shiraz: Shiraz with a splash of Touriga.

Each varietal in the BAROSSAN X range has been crafted by winemaker Lauren Hutton.

The BAROSSAN X range is now available for purchase at BWS and Dan Murphy’s for RRP $23.
