Alcohol recovery beverage Dodge has announced a distribution partnership with Amber Beverage Group.

Founded by Australians Alec Balcombe and Braeden Leahy, Dodge’s first prototype was a home-made capsule remedy of ingredients to tackle hangovers. The final formulation was developed as a functional beverage in collaboration with Monash University’s Food Innovation Centre in 2022.

Dodge is made up of more than 10 natural extracts and vitamins with the combination of these ingredients assisting the body to metabolise alcohol – reducing inflammation and nausea, all while replenishing vitamins and minerals that may be depleted.

The beverage comes in a 200ml slim line can and is designed to be consumed as the last drink of the night.

A key ingredient in Dodge is Chinese vine tea extract, rich in dihydromyricetin (DHM), alongside Asian pear juice. Dodge also includes other ingredients such as ginger to reduce nausea and red ginseng to counter inflammation, as well as milk thistle, turmeric extract, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and vitamin C.

This partnership marks a milestone for Amber Beverage Group as it enter the alcohol recovery category.

The partnership is effective from 1 October 2024.
