Aussie winemaker named world’s best no-alcohol producer

Australian winemaker Edenvale has been announced as the winner of the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2024 Low & No Producer Trophy.

The IWSC highlighted Edenvale’s pioneering role in the no-alcohol wine sector, its innovative production methods and its unwavering commitment to sustainability.

The judges said: “Edenvale should win the IWSC Low & No Producer trophy for its groundbreaking 2024 dealcoholisation plant. This world-first, fossil-fuel-free facility, developed with GoLo technology, enhances wine flavour, reduces waste, and increases energy efficiency.”

Edenvale founder Michael Bright said: “We are extremely proud to have received this prestigious award. At Edenvale, our mission is to provide consumers worldwide with a truly premium alcohol-removed wine that offers the same taste, aroma and complexity as traditional wines, without the intoxicating effects. We are constantly looking at ways we can evolve, adopting new technology and processes to ensure the very best product.”

Edenvale’s alcohol-removed wine collection is available at www.edenvale.com.au or from leading supermarket, liquor and online retailers across Australia.
