NED Australian Whisky is partnering with the Australian Baseball League [ABL] as its official whisky for the 2024/25
season.
The partnership will commence with NED releasing a limited-edition Australian Baseball League collaboration whisky on 22 November.
The ABL is Australia’s premier elite baseball competition and has a significant following both nationally and across Australasia.
The producer of NED Australian Whiskey, Top Shelf International, noted the synergies in the partnership – the bourbon-style whisky made in Australia is known for taking an American classic and adding an Australian character.
Made from Australian grains and imparted with a distinct Aussie character, Top Shelf said the spirit of innovation aligned perfectly with the ABL’s approach to baseball – a sport deeply rooted in American tradition, now infused with Aussie flair.
The NED x ABL whisky release features a limited edition ABL label for NED’s premium and award-winning Grand Reward Australian whisky.
“This is such a natural and organic partnership, and we’re thrilled to be collaborating with the ABL on our whisky,” said Top Shelf International CEO Trent Fraser.
“The ABL take a game loved by millions, probably billions, and approach it with a uniquely Aussie flair and grit. The same goes for NED – it’s is Aussie for bourbon. A classic, but with an Aussie accent.”
“We are excited to announce our new partnership with NED.,” said ABL General Manager Paul Gonzalez.
“This collaboration marks an important step forward for the Australian Baseball League as we continue to grow both on and off the field. Together, we look forward to achieving great things and creating unforgettable experiences for everyone who supports the ABL.”
The 2024-25 ABL season kicks off 15 November with the limited edition whisky available for pre-order now.
