A bold new Scotch whisky called Wee Smoky has landed in Australia, featuring a corn base and a lighter, sweeter flavour profile.
Founded in Edinburgh in 2020, the vision behind the brand is to make it the global go-to peated Scotch whisky for cocktails.
It is already seeing success in markets across the globe, securing orders in Germany, China, Luxembourg, Poland, Hong Kong and now Australia.

The versatile whisky is a smooth, fruity spirit with a hint of smoke thanks to being finished in premium-peated whisky casks.
The first batch of Wee Smoky sold out within four days and went on to win a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
“Our whisky is for creators. While we have huge respect for the industry, we invite people to challenge the pre-conceived rules associated with Scotch whisky and drink Wee Smoky however they want, with whatever they want”, said founder Rory Gammell.

Wee Smoky’s packaging is every bit as unexpected as its flavour profile. The striking bright blue bottle features modern graphics and hot pink seal, with the aim of drawing the eye of non-whisky drinkers.
Wee Smoky is now available at more than 430 liquor stores across Australia, including Liquorland, First Choice Liquor and Vintage Cellars, with an RRP of $79.
