Melbourne Gin Festival returns

The Melbourne Gin Festival will be held at the Timber Yard in Port Melbourne from 21-23 March 2025.

More than 45 of Australia’s best craft distillers will gather to pour their hearts and spirits into the celebration. The festival will see six new distillers make their festival debut and more than 30 fan-favourite brands showcase their latest drops.

Distillers at the event will include:

  • The Bluff Distillery: Meet Chris Fraser, the distiller behind Bluff, which won Best Gin at the 2024 Australian Gin Awards
  • Travelling While Standing Still Gin: a 2022 trophy winner hailing from Victoria
  • Four Friends Gin (VIC)
  • Green Street Distillery (SA)
  • Hobsons Distillery (VIC)
  • Finders Distillery (NSW)

Each guest will receive complimentary Long Rays tonic and soda, offering the ideal accompaniment to the gin tasting. There will also be four food trucks on site.

Attendees can take their gin appreciation to the next level with three guided tasting masterclasses led by some of the best in the business. They will have the opportunity to dive into the organic magic of locally sourced botanicals with the distillers from Organic Bay, learn the art of bold, sustainable spirits from the family-run team at Noble Bootleggers or explore Aussie-inspired gin and food pairings with the passionate founders of Gindu Distillery.

The festival will also feature free 10-minute sessions at the Taste Theatre, an outdoor space where distillers, Long Rays mixers, and Schibello Coffee will come together to share insights into their craft.

As part of the festival experience, every guest will enjoy unlimited gin tastings, a stylish keepsake tote, and a signature tasting glass to take home as a memento of the event.

The Melbourne Gin Festival is organised by the Australian Gin Distillers Association Inc and serves as a highlight on their national Gin Festival roadshow.
