Each summer the Felons crew releases a limited-edition fruited sour ale and this year’s creation has been inspired by Margarita Week: The Paloma Sour.

Featuring the bright and spritzy characters of its cocktail counterpart, Felons Paloma Sour is infused with fresh grapefruit juice, tequila and a dash of salt.

“The juicy, citrus character from 190 litres of grapefruit juice added provides a lovely sweetness which works in tandem with the tequila and natural acidity in the beer,” said Felons Brand Director, Dean Romeo.

“Throw it in a glass and you’ve got yourself a very refreshing sunkissed coloured refreshment! Beer
can be pretty fun like that.”

Felons Head Brewer Lincoln Gibbs said: “We brewed this beer to be easy going, fresh and spritzy. The result is a vibrant balance between beer and cocktail.

“It may be last week of summer, but the days are still warm, and they’re calling for refreshment! With only a limited number of Paloma Sour cans made, cop a carton of this juicy summer drop before it’s gone.”

The Paloma Sour launches on 20 February at Felons venues in Brisbane and Sydney, as well as select pubs, bars and restaurants.
