Young Henrys unveils Newtowner 3.5 mid-strength

Young Henrys has introduced a new addition to its Newtowner line-up with mid-strength Newtowner 3.5.

Last year, Young Henrys surveyed 1700 Newtowner drinkers, with findings showing their consumers were drinking more moderately and their taste preferences had shifted.

In response, the brewery created Newtowner 3, mid-strength evolution of the classic Pale Ale fan-favourite. The beer’s recipe has been tweaked to craft a 3.5% alcohol content paired with a slightly dryer hop profile, lowering the bitterness to create more tropical fruit aromas and flavours.

“Very reminiscent of its biological parent, Newtowner, this mid strength version still pops with notes of passion fruit and citrus, balanced against a full bodied malt backbone,” said Head Brewer Jesse Searls.

“At 3.5%, it gives you more opportunities to enjoy that classic Newtowner taste that you know and love. We’re super proud of our newest sibling, and we’re sure you’ll love it too. Cheers!”

Available now across the country. RRP: $19.99 4-pack, $59.99 16-pack case.
