Actor and Global Tanqueray No.TEN Partner Stanley Tucci has revealed his freezer batch recipe for making perfect Martini cocktails to celebrate World Martini Day.
World Martini Day is celebrated each year on the third Saturday of June and falls on 21 June in 2025. It’s a day to appreciate and enjoy the classic cocktail, whether you prefer it shaken or stirred, with gin or vodka, garnished with an olive or a lemon twist.
Naturally, Tucci prefers to use gin in his freezer batch Martini recipe.

Stanley Tucci’s Perfect Batch Martini
(Serves 7 people)
- 425ml Tanqueray No.TEN
- 100ml vermouth
- 175ml mineral water
Method: Combine all ingredients in an empty 700ml No.TEN bottle or jug. Store the bottle in the freezer for several hours or overnight. When ready to serve, pour 100ml into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish of your choice – try olives or a twist of fresh grapefruit peel
