Virgin Australia and Visit Victoria have teamed up to create the Last Flight Club, which offers a one-night experience flying Sydneysiders to Melbourne and back again before breakfast.
Taking off on Thursday 7 August, Last Flight Club transforms the final Virgin Australia flight from Sydney to Melbourne into the start of a night out filled with food, sport and live music.
Book the 8.30pm on 7 August and the 6am flight back on 8 August and the cost of the all-night itinerary is complimentary.
Virgin’s tagline for the event: “No hotel booking. No sleep. Just one unforgettable night.”
From a private DJ set by Client Liaison in the Virgin Australia Lounge upon arrival, to exclusive access to some of Melbourne’s most iconic late-night venues, guests will get a taste of the city that keeps its energy going long after dark.
“Last Flight Club is about showing what’s possible when you turn a regular flight into something extraordinary,” said Virgin Australia Chief Marketing Officer, Libby Minogue.
“With Virgin Australia, it’s not just about the destination – it’s about how we help travellers create memorable moments along the way.”
“While other cities wind down, we’re just getting started – with a mix of culture, sport and hospitality that’s unmatched across the country,” said Visit Victoria CEO Brendan McClements.
“This incredible itinerary highlights all the best bits of Victoria, showcasing the passion, creativity and diversity that makes our state ‘Every bit different’.”

The party kicks off in the skies with host and comedian Ben Lomas, setting the tone as guests board the flight.
Touching down in Melbourne, the celebration continues with a private DJ set by Client Liaison at Virgin Australia’s Melbourne airport lounge.
Guests will then enjoy a guided Lego Star Wars tour and bespoke experience at Melbourne Museum – along with some insta-worthy snacks from the Star Wars Café.
Then it’s time to raise a glass at the Melbourne Supper Club, where guests will savour Victorian food and wine and master the perfect martini with the Melbourne Gin Company, led by hospitality icon Con Christopoulos.
And to cap off the night, guests will step onto the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground to meet AFL legend Anthony ‘Kouta’ Koutoufides and AFLW star Darcy Vescio, snap selfies with the AFLW & AFL Premiership trophies and even have a kick on the field. All before returning on the first flight back to Sydney.
