LVMH has opened the doors to Ardbeg House, a boutique hotel devoted to whisky in the picturesque village of Port Ellen on the Scottish island of Islay.
Just a short hop from the historic Ardbeg distillery, the hotel blends Scottish hospitality with the flavours Ardbeg single malt whisky, offering visitors an immersive experience in the heart of the island.

Designed with Russell Sage Studio, the hotel counts 12 rooms and suites which merge local craft and playful nods to the history of Islay and Ardbeg.

The Signature restaurant and Islay Bar propose exceptional Scottish food elevated by unique pairings around Ardbeg-whiskies, including drams available only at Ardbeg House and the distillery.

Experiences reserved to hotel guests include private tours of the distillery, opportunities to explore Islay’s wild landscapes, and each evening at 6:15pm, be part of the special whisky hour ritual at the bar for a tasting of small-batch whisky.
“With Ardbeg House we are very excited to immerse our guests in the spirit of Islay and the universe of Ardbeg,” said Ardbeg President and CEO Caspar MacRae.
“Whether our guests are smoky malt lovers or just discovering our exceptional whisky, we guarantee they will leave the island as lifelong fans of Ardbeg and Islay.”
