VOK Beverages has announced the expansion of its flavoured whiskey liqueur portfolio, with the national launch of Real McCoy Cinnamon Doughnut.
Real McCoy has already seen sales success with its Salted Caramel and Buttered Popcorn variants and the new release is positioned to capitalise on continued growth in flavour-led spirits, as consumers increasingly seek approachable, flavour-focused alternatives to more traditional whiskey expressions.
Search trends in early 2026 point to rising demand for “crowd-pleasing” and shareable drinks, reinforcing momentum behind more playful, experience-led products.
At the same time, dark spirits continue to build traction locally, with whiskey and bourbon consumption rising by approximately 4% annually since 2021, signalling sustained interest in the category.
Built on a base of American whiskey and bourbon, the 30% ABV liqueur delivers a profile of warm vanilla, cinnamon sugar, and baked doughnut, designed to balance indulgence with a clear whiskey backbone.
“With Real McCoy, we’re focused on nostalgic flavours people already love and giving them a new way to enjoy them,” said VOK Beverages Brand Manager Johann Einarson.
“It’s indulgent and playful, but balanced – and importantly, versatile enough to work across multiple drinking occasions, from chilled shots through to cocktail serves.”
Real McCoy Cinnamon Doughnut Flavoured Whiskey Liqueur has an ABV of 30% and an RRP of $55 (700ml).
