Back by popular demand and at a more approachable ABV of 5%, Stoic Brewing will be serving its Oyster Stout at this weekend’s Narooma Oyster Festival on the NSW Sapphire Coast.
Growers, chefs and shuckers will celebrate the rock oyster on the shores of Narooma’s Wagonga Inlet from 1-3 May 2026.
Brewed in collaboration with Jim Wild Oysters, 15 dozen oysters were added to the kettle adding a salty brine to the beer! Specifically designed for the Narooma Oyster Festival, the stout features hints of the sea mingle with rich, roasted malt character, creating a smooth and subtly briny finish.
Narooma Oyster Festival will feature 19 seafood and food vendors on 1 May and more than 65 oyster growers, food vendors, producers and drink vendors on 2 May.
Father-and-son duo Steve and Andrew Prosser, founded Stoic in 2018 in the NSW South Coast town of Gerringong. They have since opened a second venue in Shellharbour.

Stoic’s Oyster Stout is also available on tap and in cans in Gerringong, and available in cans only in Shellharbour.
