Trio of Sydney pubs hits the market

Three landmark Sydney pubs are up for sale after more than 25 years under the same ownership, offering the new buyer around $40 million in combined annual revenue.

JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group has been appointed to sell the Amalgated Hotels-owned pubs The Clock, Surry Hills; The Sackville, Rozelle and Bank Hotel, Newtown.

Dubbed ‘The Social Collective’ – JLL Hotel’s & Hospitality Director John Musca said the sale was a unique opportunity to acquire three of Sydney’s most recognisable and culturally embedded hospitality venues.

“These hotels are more than operating real estate assets,” he said. “They are enduring brands, woven into the daily rhythm of their respective neighbourhoods and supported by powerful, high density residential and retail catchments.

“Each asset occupies a marquee inner city location, deeply connected to its local community and positioned at the centre of some of Sydney’s most vibrant social, hospitality and lifestyle precincts.

Offered for sale either individually or as a tightly held inner Sydney portfolio, ‘The Social Collective’ presents a compelling opportunity to acquire landmark pubs with authentic character, proven earnings durability and meaningful future upside.”

The pubs are currently managed by Solotel.
